Jamaica 360

International Reggae music star, Half Pint, rocked the Hollywood, California crowd last week at the Jamaica 360 benefit event at the Key Club on the world famous Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. After walking the red carpet for the event with TV cameras and paparazzi from the worldwide media, Pint had the stars, industry and media people and fans in a frenzy during his 30 minute set. The singer was also doing a pre-launch and showcase of new songs from his upcoming No Stress Express CD release including being joined by Jack Maness from the Long Beach Dub All Stars on their single “Unity.” Other stars from the world of Reggae (Spragga Benz, Rootz Underground), Hip-Hop (MC Eiht, Dana Dana) and dance music (DJ RAW) performed for the capacity crowd the benefited the scholarship program for the Jamaica 360 Foundation.

Jamaica 360 and press hits

Lots of things going on — the big one to note is this Thursday’s release party for No Stress Express / Jamaica 360 benefit in West Hollywood, CA (Los Angeles area). Pint will be at the Key Club (9039 W Sunset Blvd). Doors open at 8pm and things run until 2am. 18 and over.

Also, Pint has had a bunch of publicity in the Jamaica Gleaner in recent months:

• Half Pint picks up big honour in Hartford, (August 31, 2007).
• Half Pint gets his own day in Hartford, (August 29, 2007).
• A universal ‘Greetings’ from Half Pint, (August 26, 2007).
• Small singer gets big, (August 26, 2007).
• Sun Festival comes to Braco (May 20, 2007).
