Half Pint Reggae Sumfest summary

Internationally beloved reggae singing star, Half Pint, had the honours of closing the 15th staging of Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest ’07 night billed “Zenith.” Dapperly clad he entered the stage as the sun was making it self known at about 6:30am to thunderous applause. Backed by the legendary Lloyd Parks and the We The People Band, his first song was the international reggae anthem “Greetings.” He had the audience in a frenzy with his mega-hits, “Winsome” and “Crazy Girl” that were well appreciated by the hungry Half Pint fans. “Hold On,” “Mr Landlord,” which he called on from his vast repertoire also. Special guest, Jack Maness from the California based Long Beach Dub All-Stars, joined Pint to sing “Unity” his latest single from his soon to be released album titled, No Stress Express. He spoke to the audience “It is very important for us all be in Unity, especially at this time in Jamaica when there is an impending election.” Pint also sang fan favourites “Political Fiction,” “Level The Vibes” and closed the 15th Red Stripe Reggae fittingly with “One Big Family.”
